We are EXCITED to announce we have started our first BIG WALNUT LITTLE LEAGUE charter. This will create exciting opportunities for the players in our community to grow with each other as well as have an opportunity to selected to an All-Star team to compete in the Little League World Series Tournament.
The Spring Baseball/Softball season will begin in April and run through early July. Teams will have practices scheduled for one weeknight and Saturdays. Games will be scheduled on Saturdays in early May and we will add in weekday games in place of practices close to the time school is out.
Fall Season will begin in mid August and run through October. Teams will have one scheduled practice during the week and then games on the weekends. Our fall season is focused more toward development and there will not be evaluations or an end of the season tournament.
In joining the Little League Community, this also comes with some rule updates and equipment regulations. Any bats to be used should be stamped with the USA stamp logo.
Divisions groups for spring season:
- T-Ball: 4-5 year olds (Co-Ed)
- Coach Pitch 5-6 year olds (Co-ed)
- Minors Coach Pitch: 6-8 year olds
- Minors Kid Pitch: 8-11 year olds
- Majors: 9-12 year olds
